Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me" John 14:6

Christianity as the name implies is about the Lord Jesus Christ who is the fulfilment of God's plan to rescue people. It is through Jesus Christ that God has made it possible for us to enter friendship with Himself. The Bible says that it is Jesus who opened the way for people to be reconciled with God through His death on the cross. This is God's extraordinary gift to undeserving people.

"Christ died for sin once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God" 1 Peter 3:18

To become a Christian you need to:

1.

Admit to God and to yourself that you've been living life your way, without acknowledging God's rightful rule of your life and living His way.

"For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23

2.

Be willing to turn from your way to God's way.

Jesus Christ said "The Kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the Good News" Mark 1:15

Let God know you are putting your trust in Him by asking Jesus Christ to forgive your rebelliousness and to hand over control of your life to him. This is done through prayer-simply talking to God.

"If we confess our sins He is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" 1 John 1:9
