Our Approach to Membership

"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him" John 3:36

We seek to be a church for all people. You are most welcome to attend, observe and ask questions or choose to be more involved. There is no formal basis of membership in the Anglican Church. A person is deemed to be a communicant member of an Anglican Church simply by attendance at the church and participation in the Lord's Supper. Recipients of the Lord's Supper must be lovers of the Lord Jesus Christ, seeking to live according to His commandments.

Marks of true membership are:

1. a person's commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour;

2. a holy life worthy of the calling you have received in Christ Jesus;

3. a recognition of being part of God's people demonstrated by regular attendance at the church gathering and a willingness to serve the community of God's people generously with your time, talents and finances.

True membership of God's church is open only to the genuine disciple of Christ. If you are new at our church it's a good idea to find out more information about membership. Please make an appointment to speak with one of the ministers (Office 9548 2296).
