Mark Series

Studying Mark

This term we’ll be exploring Mark on Sundays and during the week in our growth groups.

Mark is the incredible story of Jesus, told in a very vivid way. One writer calls it “the gospel on steroids”. Mark will help us reflect more deeply on who Jesus is and what it means to follow him.

We’ll be singing many of those songs on Sundays. You might like to add the lists (adults or kids) to your Spotify and reflect on the words during the week.

Women's Build Up Arvo
Mar.
10
2:00 pm14:00

Women's Build Up Arvo

Our parish-wide Women’s Build Up Arvo is coming up soon, with women of all ages (youth to seniors) across all our congregations.

The aim of Build-Up Arvos is to deepen our Biblical thinking on a topic, and reflect on how it affects life in practise (Col 2:2-3). This time we’re focusing on “Women’s Ministry: what, why and how”. What exactly is women’s ministry? Who’s responsibility is it? How does it relate to discipleship? What does this look like at your church.

We’ll have 2 talks by Di Warren, and interviews by Loz Street, with our lovely new student ministers Kat Low and Olivia Martin, and Loz’s Mum Karen.

So bring your Bible for a great time learning together.

Program

  • 2-2:45 Talk1 “The mystery of women’s ministry”, reflection and interviews

  • 2:45-3:15 Afternoon Tea

  • 3:15-4:00 Talk2 “Looking up and looking down” (Titus 2), reflection, and interviews

Date: Sunday March 10

Time: 2-4 pm

Venue: Engadine Anglican

Cost: Free

More details: Chat to Jen Follett (9am), Karen Street (10:45), Carly Kennedy & Loz Street (Night Church), Jenny Kennedy (Heathcote)

Afternoon tea: If you would like to bring something for afternoon tea, please let the office know.

Register: It would be great if you could let the Office know below, for catering and printing outlines!
