BOOK LIBRARY

Below is a great collection of books that help us to “build up” and “reach out”, through God’s word and prayer. We also have a church library, primarily for children’s books, at Engadine Anglican Church. To browse the collection, visit the library in-person, review the catalogue here, or use the search field below. Then check-out books using “FirstName LastName” as your Patron ID. Contact Brodie (brodie@eac.org.au) if you have any questions or difficulties with the process.

Big Reads

  • Fearfully and Wonderfully Made (Dr Megan Best) - When does human life begin? What are the arguments for and against abortion? Is it ok to use genetic screening? Should Christians use IVF or embryonic stem cell research? An important book looking at Christian ethics in reproductive medicine.

  • The Cross of Christ (John Stott) - The Cross is the universal symbol of the Christian faith. But what does the Cross mean? Why did Jesus have to die? This book needs to be read slowly, ideally with a friend, but is wonderfully rewarding.
