MINISTRY APPRENTICES

Why MTS?

Jesus said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Matt 9:37-38)

The harvest is plentiful. At Engadine Heathcote Anglican we long for everyone to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. We believe that all Christians have been sent out as workers into his harvest field. And our prayer is that God would raise up from among us a new generation of full-time gospel workers. We want to be a generous church that carefully disciples, trains, and sends workers beyond Engadine and Heathcote. Building Up and Reaching Out for the Glory of Jesus, across Sydney; Australia; the World.

So we invest in MTS (the Minstry Training Strategy), where we set aside able leaders for 2 years of training, before they (usually) leave us for Bible College.

MTS (2024-25)

Phi Begg

Phi started trusting Jesus late in high school as she learnt what it meant to have Jesus as both her Saviour and King. Married to Nick, Phi looks forward to serving and walking alongside women in their faith and growing personally in her love and knowledge for Jesus.

Sarah Rathsam

Sarah learned how to truly love and follow Jesus through Engadine Anglican. She is looking forward to being trained in different ministries at EHAC alongside Phi, and to grow and serve others for the glory of Jesus, with the hope to serve in overseas mission long-term.
