GUIDE TO MORNING CHURCH
VISION
Our vision is: “For the glory of Jesus, we build up and reach out, through God’s word and prayer.”
Specifically:
That every church member is growing in their love of Jesus and equipped to build up and reach out, through being actively part of a Sunday congregation, a growth group, and a ministry team.
That every person in 2233 has the opportunity to hear about Jesus, through investing in Kids, Youth and Seniors ministry.
That we train and send our best leaders to serve in gospel ministry world-wide through our MTS program, and by supporting Moore College, CMS, BCA and AFES.
GROUP GROUPS & NETWORK
As we are a large church, our mid week growth groups are a vital way to study the Bible and do life together with a group of around 10 adults. We also have networks to foster relationships across affinity groups, such as men, women, families, kids-free and interest groups. Contact the Office (eac@eac.org.au) to discuss what growth group might suit you best.
MINISTRY TEAMS
We encourage every member to serve in a ministry team(s).
SUNDAY MINISTRY TEAMS
PRAYER TEAM: To pray for our gathering. Arrive by: 9-9:15am.
AV TEAM: To enable everyone to see and hear clearly. Arrive by: Sunday 9am.
WELCOMING TEAM: To welcome everyone to Morning Church by (1) setting up tables (name-tags etc), (2) handing-out outlines, (3) introducing any visitor to a member. Arrive by: 9am
MORNING TEA TEAM: To enable Morning Church to have fellowship with each, by (1) setting up tables outside with cups/glasses/supplies, (2) making coffee and tea, (3) serving outside, (4) packing up (tables, wash-up). Arrive by: 9am
